ELASTOMERIC BEARING HAVING ELASTIC LAYER

PURPOSE: An elastomeric bearing having an elastic layer is provided to prevent an elastic pad from becoming separated from upper and lower plates even if the horizontal displacement of a structure is increased because the elastic pad has high-viscosity and high-adhesion. CONSTITUTION: An elastomeric bearing having an elastic layer comprises an upper plate(10), a lower plate(20), an elastic pad(30), and an elastic layer(40). The upper and lower plates are fixed to upper and lower structures(U,L) through anchor bolts(11,21). The elastic pad is installed between the upper and lower plates and is composed of a rubber layer(31), one or more reinforcing plates(32), and top and bottom reinforcing plates(34). The reinforcing plates are formed inside the rubber layer. The elastic layer is inserted between the upper plate and the top of the elastic pad or between the lower plate and the bottom of the elastic pad.
