PURPOSE: A water-hammer pump is provided to pump water to the higher place because a higher pressure is caused by connecting pistons having different surface areas. CONSTITUTION: A water-hammer pump comprises a running water pipe(10), a pump head(20), an operation unit(30), and a first supplying pipe(40). The water flow the running water pipe. The head pump is joined to a leading end of the running water pipe and a predetermined space unit and forms an outlet in the upper surface. The operation unit is installed inside the pump head, thereby opening/closing the outlet of the head pump. The first supplying pipe is joined to one side of the running water pipe and a fist check valve is installed in the first supplying pipe.
