<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unidirectional transmission system and content distribution method which heightens receiving-completion probability and also can prevent radio bandwidths from being wasted as compared to cases where FDT instances, etc. are distributed at equal distribution intervals. <P>SOLUTION: The unidirectional transmission system of the prevent invention includes a distribution timing determination unit 116 which determines the timing with which FDT instances are distributed and a distribution unit 113 which sends divided contents out to a unidirectional transmission line after assigning them identifiers and also distributes an FDT instance periodically before and during content distribution. The distribution timing determination unit 116 sets, in a time domain from a content distribution start time of day T<SB POS="POST">s</SB>to a threshold time of day T<SB POS="POST">th</SB>, a first distribution interval as an FDT instance distribution interval, and sets, in a time domain from the threshold time of day T<SB POS="POST">th</SB>to a content distribution-completion time of day, a second distribution interval greater than the first distribution interval as an FDT instance distribution interval. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
