<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To respond to a request for enhancing liquid leakage reducing performance without reducing relief pressure and contact bearing pressure to a rotary shaft of a seal, in a lipped liquid seal having the relief function of sealing the outer periphery of the rotary shaft. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid seal 1 having an annular lip part 2 and an annular fixing part 3 fixed to an inner peripheral surface of a shaft hole 12, arranged so that the lip part 2 is connected to the fixing part 3 and the tip extends in the axial direction from a connecting part, and fitting a spring 7 for pressing a seal lip 4 to the outer periphery of a rotary shaft 13 around the lip part 2, is formed so that the seal lip 4 forms an angle shape of projecting the edge 4c of the apex to the inner diameter side in a cross section cut along a plane of passing through the axis of a seal, and the spring 7 is arranged in a position deviated to the tip side of the lip part 2 more than the edge 4 of the apex of a crest of the seal lip. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
