PURPOSE: A method for controlling lamp output of a weft straightener is provided to automatically control value of PID control. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling lamp output of a weft straightener comprises: a step of inputting processor of sensor value and user's setting reference value(S1); a step of comparing the inputted value to determine variation value(S2); a step of outputting the lamp considering the variation value(S3); a step of applying hysteresis to the lamp output in a predetermined ratio; a step of setting primary P gain reference lamp output(S4); a step of comparing the primary P gain reference lamp output with previous P gain lamp output; and a step of calculating temporary P gain value.
