PURPOSE: An electric boiler for hot water and steam is provided to prevent over-pressure by cutting off power for an entire boiler and to reduce electricity consumption by maintaining a constant pressure and temperature inside of the boiler by increasing the preheating temperature of the supplied water. CONSTITUTION: An electric boiler for hot water and steam comprises a steam tank(1), a water supply pump(7), and a hot water chamber(26). Water is heated by an electric heater arranged in the lower part of the steam tank. Steam is generated in an upper steam chamber(3), thereby being discharged through an outlet(28). The water returned back through the water supply pump is preheated by heat-exchanging with the high-temperature steam of the boiler main body in the small steam storage chamber(4). The preheated water is supplied to a heating chamber in the lower part of a boiler tank. The boiler main body and hot water chamber are formed into a body. The water in the hot water chamber is heated by using heat in the steam tank. |
