PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for temporally-consistent disparity estimation are provided to determine temporally- consistency based on sense or estimation of matched motion. CONSTITUTION: A time restricting unit(110) determines temporal consistency of pixels. The time restricting unit estimates transition of pixels based on decision of the time restricting unit. The first pixel transition is calculated based on a second pixel transition of a previous frame.
