<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball which has a unique ball appearance, is highly stylish and is particularly useful for women, and which also has excellent scuff resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The golf ball comprising a solid core of at least one layer and a cover of at least one layer. The solid core or an inner cover layer adjacent to an outer cover layer has a color selected from a group of pink, yellow, blue and orange colors, and has an L value of ≥60. The color difference ▵E is ≤20 between the solid core or the inner cover layer adjacent to the outer cover layer and the surface of the ball. At least the outer cover layer is transparent or translucent. As pearl pigment which develops colors through the interference action of reflected light, 0.05-5 parts by weight of metal oxide covered mica is added to the 100 parts by weight of a resin material of the cover layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
