<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information input device and an image forming device which allow a user to confirm a setting status and smoothly set a function. <P>SOLUTION: The information input device includes a display means for displaying an information input screen and a touch panel provided to be overlapped on the display means for identifying a position specified on the information input screen. Multiple function setting keys are displayed on a function setting area 200. When an input means detected that a flick operation was performed to the right direction to the function setting area 200, detailed setting items each of which corresponds to each of the function setting keys are displayed on a detailed setting area 662.
