PURPOSE: A parking brake apparatus capable of preventing the release of the rotation restriction of a parking brake lever by the external shock is provided to improve the console space utilization rate in between a seat for a driver and a passenger seat. CONSTITUTION: A parking brake apparatus(1) comprises a lever(100) and a mounting unit(200). The lever is rotatably installed on a lever line(L2) of a vehicle, and includes a first rod, a second rod, and a cable. The second rod is connected to one end of the first rod with the prefixed angle, and rotates around a hinge shaft. The cable is connected to one end of the second rod and a brake pole. The brake pole is coupled to a latch gear(210) of the mounting unit for limiting the rotation of the lever. The mounting unit is installed on a center line(L1) of the vehicle for transferring the operational force of the lever to wheels. |
