The invention relates to an immunotherpaic agent which is based on cell wall fragments from a virulent strain of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, to a method of obtaining said agent, to pharmaceutical formulations containing same and to the use thereof for the preparation of a medicament that is intended for the combined treatment of tuberculosis together with other pharmaceuticals.
