PURPOSE:To easily narrow a laser beam into the fundamental lateral mode in a resonator in an accurate manner by properly positioning a laser mounting block, a resonator supporting block, on which a waveplate, solid-state laser crystal and a wavelengthconverting element are integrated on the surface vertical to an oscillation laser optical axis, and a lens-mounting block. CONSTITUTION:An LD chip 11 is attached to an LD chip mounting block 17 in line with a marking position. A resonator supporting block 22 supports an SHG laser resonator 13 which is composed of a 1/4 waveplate 18, a laser medium 19, a spacer 20 and a nonlinear optical crystal element 21. The SHG laser resonator 13 is integrally formed while it is being centered and vertically surface-exposed. A condenser 12 is attached to a lens-mounting block 23. An LD chip mounting block 17 and a resonator supporting block 22 are positioned by a base substrate 24 in line with the reference surface. A laser beam can be narrowed to the fundamental lateral mode in the SHG resonator by finely adjusting the above-mentioned three blocks. |
