PURPOSE: An arc welding device and arc welding system are provided to control sputtering and to prevent unstable welding work by rapidly opening the short circuit. CONSTITUTION: An arc welding device includes a detecting unit(4) and an adjustment unit. The detecting unit detects at least one among the present short circuit generation period and the present arc generation period. The adjustment unit adjusts the increment ratio of the short circuit current in the next short circuit generation period among the present short circuit generation period and the present arc generation period.
