PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an art effectively supporting a pathological diagnosis responding to various types of organs in a technical field for supporting a doctor's pathological diagnosis by a computer system and the like.

SOLUTION: This pathological diagnosis support device allows a user to perform a function selection including a selection of an organ, or an inspection object (a step S101); acquires an inspection object image (a step S102), as for elements without depending on the organ, classifies the elements as a common support function (a step S103); and as for an element specific to the organ, prepares a detection algorithm specialized to the organ as a plug-in and appropriately incorporates and executes it (a step S104). These results are integratedly displayed (steps S106 and S107) so as to support the diagnosis of a plurality of types of organs by a single device.
