<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator system enabling users themselves to select efficient operation control suited to the users' purposes and dispensing with registration of destination floors by all the users. <P>SOLUTION: The elevator system includes a plurality of cars lifted between three or more floors; operation panels installed at elevator halls, and an operation control device for controlling the operation of the cars. The user registers the destination floor using the operation panel. The operation control device determines the operation modes of the plurality of cars to carry the users who desire the same or close destination floors together based on the plurality of registered destination floors, and sets the destination floors of the cars. The operation mode includes a low floor going mode of setting only the low floor out of the three or more floors as the destination floor, a high floor going mode of setting only the high floor as the destination floor, and a random mode of setting both the low floor and high floor as the destination floors. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
