<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly productive electrode sheet. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode sheet for a battery has a group of windings of electrodes. The electrode sheet includes an electric collector on the both sides of which are coated with an electrode compound. The electrode sheet includes the electric collector having un-coated portions where no electrode compound are applied on both upper and under sides of the edge portions in the longitudinal direction thereof. At least the edges where electrode compound are coated in the front and rear planes of one edge in the un-coated portions have a gap not less than 0.3 mm and not larger than 30 mm in the longitudinal direction of the electrode sheet and are press formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
