Disclosed is an adjuvant composition comprising, (a) one or more (C12-C14)alkyl dimethyl betaine surfactant compounds, and (b) one or more surfactant compounds selected from: sodium alkyl ether sulfates, which are selected from: (i) compounds according to formula (II) wherein: each R4 is independently H or methyl, R5 is (C8-C18)alkyl, m is an integer from 1 to 50, and X+ is Na+; and (ii) sodium lauryl ether sulfate; sulfonates Also disclosed is a pesticide composition comprising the adjuvant composition and an effective amount of a pesticide, which is selected from the group consisting of: (i) glufosinate, glyphosate, water soluble glufosinate salts, water soluble glyphosate salts, and any mixture thereof; (ii) potassium, sodium, isopropyl amine, and ammonium salts of glyphosate; and (iii) glyphosate isopropyl amine salt.
