<p>Provided is an image capture device capable of obtaining a multiple viewpoint image with separated viewpoints and capable of compactly containing a multiple viewpoint photographic function. An image capture device which captures an image with different viewpoints comprises: a plurality of light receiving elements; a plurality of microlenses which are disposed in respective correspondence with the plurality of light receiving elements, respectively reforming light, from a photographic subject that is formed into an image with an image forming lens, into an image, and causing the corresponding light receiving elements to respectively receive said light; a plurality of first polarizing optical elements which are disposed in respective correspondence with a plurality of first light receiving elements from among the plurality of light receiving elements and which cause the corresponding first light receiving elements to receive the light from the photographic subject which passes through a first pupil region of an exit pupil of the image forming lens; and an image signal generator unit which generates an image signal of an image with different viewpoints from image capture signals of the plurality of first light receiving elements and image capture signals of a plurality of second light receiving elements which receive the light from the photographic subject which passes through a second pupil region of the exit pupil.</p> |
