The lens (1) has an incident surface (11) and a failure surface (12) comprising an X-axis comb and a Y-axis comb along X-axis and Y-axis of a coordinate system. The combs intersect each other and divide the failure surface into four curvature surfaces along a clockwise direction such that the first and second surfaces as well as the third and fourth surfaces are definable by the X-axis comb, and the first and fourth surfaces as well as second and third surfaces are definable by the Y-axis comb, where X-axis curvature and Y-axis curvature of the surfaces are equal or unequal. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a light collecting module comprising a light source (2) a lamp device comprising a transparent covering.
