<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for controlling the position of a guide in a rolling mill, the structure of which is simple, with which manufacturing cost is reduced and which does not require an electrical position controlling means, in that regard, the manufacturing cost is more reduced and, further, the whole size is made smaller. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes a guide moving mechanism by which the guide for a rolling stock can be moved in the axial direction of rolling rolls and fixed pitch feeding mechanism which is connected with the guide moving mechanism and performs unit feeding operation for moving the guide by a unit displacement and is constituted so that the unit feeding operation by the fixed pitch feeding mechanism is performed for the necessary number of times. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
