<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a gusset bag with a handle and a handle attaching device capable of automating manufacture of a gusset bag with a handle just by attachment to an existing bag making machine. <P>SOLUTION: A pair of cylindrically folded side gusset forming materials 3 is arranged between a strip-like surface film 1 and a strip-like rear surface film 2. A bottom film 4 is arranged in the bottom while bending either end of the surface film 1 or the rear surface film 2. The surface film 1 and the rear surface film 2 are cut. The side gusset forming materials 3 and corner bottom parts are joined to the surface film 1 and the rear surface film 2. The handle 15 is formed in a state of overlapping a pair of synthetic resin handle pieces 5 forming it. Both ends of the handle piece 5 are arranged facing the same direction between the surface film 1 and the rear surface film 2.
