<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive image forming device capable of suppressing the occurrence of jam during conveyance of a recording sheet. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device 1 comprises an image formation part for performing image formation processing which forms an image on a recording sheet, a sheet conveyance part for conveying the recording sheet with a prescribed interval, a conveyance path in which the recording sheet is conveyed by the sheet conveyance part, including an intersecting sections 324 and 325 in which conveyance paths R1 and R2 in which the recording sheet after the image formation processing by the image formation part is conveyed and a discharge path R4 in which the conveyed recording sheet is discharged intersect, conveying jam detection parts C1, C2, C3 and 42 which are arranged apart on the conveyance path and detect a jam occurred during conveyance of the recording sheet, and a sheet interval control part for expanding the sheet interval time for a predetermined time when the jam occurred within the intersecting sections is detected by the conveying jam detection parts C1, C2, C3 and 42. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
