The present invention refers to a process for manufacturing jewellery with butterfly wings encapsulated in resin, a novel product in the market. The process for manufacturing jewellery with encapsulated butterfly wings is characterised in that it comprises the following steps: i) obtaining and cutting the wings, ii) inserting the wings previously cut in step i) into two acrylic layers, iii) pouring resin in a jewel compartment, iv) placing the acrylic support into the jewel compartment, v) pouring resin over the acrylic support, and vi) polishing the dyed resin.
