SAFETY SYSTEM OF LOADING DECK DEVICE FOR DUMP TRUCK

PURPOSE: A cargo box security system for a dump truck is provided to prevent driving of a dump truck in a state that a cargo box is ascended because an accelerator pedal and side brake module of the dump truck are forcedly controlled in the state that a cargo box is ascended after unloading a cargo of the dump truck by a control unit. CONSTITUTION: A cargo box security system for a dump truck comprises a limit switch(40), a driving distance detecting sensor(50), a control unit(60), an accelerator pedal module(62), and a side brake module(64). The limit switches are installed in both sides of a lower car body in the bottom of the cargo box. The limit switches detect an ascendant and descent of the cargo box by a rotation lever(45) contacting to the bottom of the cargo box. The driving distance detecting sensor is installed toward the ground, thereby detecting a driving distance of a dump truck. The control unit controls an operation of the driving distance detecting sensor according to ascendant and descent signals of the cargo box. The accelerator pedal module stops an acceleration of the dump truck when the dump truck arrives at a first setting position preset to the control unit in advance. The side brake module stops moving of the dump truck when the dump truck arrives at a second setting position.
