KIT COMPRISING PROTEIN BINDING TO TARGET SEQUENCE AND METHOD FOR DETECTING TARGET NUCLEIC ACID USING THEREOF

PURPOSE: A kit containing target sequence binding protein and a detection method using the same are provided to ensure efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A kit for detecting target nucleic acids contains target sequence binding protein containing amino acid sequences specifically binding the target nucleotide sequences and a detectable probe which is linked to the proteins. The target nucleotide sequence contains 6-18 nucleotides. The amino acid sequence is zinc finger motif, helix-turn-helix motif, helix-loop-helix motif, leucine zipper motif, restriction endonuclease nucleic acid binding motif, or mixture thereof. A method for detecting the target nucleic acids comprises: a step of contacting detectable probe-labeled target sequence binding protein with an amino acid sequence which specifically binds to the target nucleic acids and nucleotide sequences; and a step of detecting the signal from the probe.
