The loading system has an extendable loading base (18) which is displaceably mounted opposite to the vehicle body by a guide arrangement. A lifting unit is formed for height-adjustment of the loading base. The lifting unit has a pivoting lever that is mounted in rear side area of the loading space. The pivoting lever is mounted at the vehicle body over a joint.
