<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil pot for anti-oxidation, an oil pot capable of completely shut off contact between contained oil and air. <P>SOLUTION: A lid member 2 to be inserted into an oil storage container 1 with an upper part opened is formed so that the outer periphery is vertically slidable and is elastically brought into pressure-contact with the inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical peripheral wall 1a of the oil storage container 1 in a watertight state. By pushing in the lid member 2 into the oil storage container 1, air on the oil inside the oil storage container 1 is collected in an air vent hole 3 installed in the lid member 2 and is led to the outside.
