<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing enzyme-immobilized hydrogel by which the leakage of the enzyme from an immobilized carrier is suppressed without affecting the catalyst activity of the enzyme to be immobilized. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the method for producing the enzyme-immobilized hydrogel including a step of reacting a polymer containing carboxy group in which phenol is introduced with the enzyme in the presence of a cross-linking catalyst for binding the phenol to each other and carrying out cross-linking, thus cross-linking the polymer and immobilizing the enzyme in the polymer. The cross-linking catalyst is a peroxidase, laccase or tyrosinase. When the cross-linking catalyst is the peroxidase, hydrogen peroxide is used together with the cross-linking catalyst. When the cross-linking catalyst is the laccase or tyrosinase, oxygen is used together with the cross-linking catalyst. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
