<p>The safety flow control valve (1) has a valve main portion (7) that is slidably arranged in a recess (15) of a valve housing (2). The valve main portion is pressurized by a pressure spring (8) to open the control valve when print medium is supplied at the inlet of pressure chamber. A cylindrical space (16) is formed between valve main portion and recess of valve housing to provide fluid communication to an end surface (17) of the valve main portion at opposite side of pressure spring.</p>
