<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simpler and more effective guard by reconsidering not guard shape but a guard material, since an accident in which a child head is caught in a triangle space produced in a clearance between an escalator and the floor of an upper story can be prevented but an accident in which the child head is caught between a guard itself and the handrail of the escalator is induced or a mechanical device to prevent the accident is necessary or an automatic stopping device or the like is attached to cause complicatedness of a safety device. <P>SOLUTION: As the guard material, an elastomer or an object of a cushion shape in which a material having flexibility and elasticity is filled is used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
