<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow rate sensor capable of improving the reliability of temperature detection when arranging a temperature detection sensor element on a position where a sub-passage is not deformed. <P>SOLUTION: A thermal flow rate sensor includes: a resin housing member 18 inserted into a main passage 20 to configure a sub-passage 9 into which a part of flow rate of the main passage 20 is allowed to flow; a flow rate sensor element 1 arranged in the sub-passage 9 to detect a flow rate; a circuit board 16 electrically connected to the flow rate sensor element 1; a temperature detection sensor element 2 having two leads for transmitting an electric signal to detect a temperature; and a first terminal 3 and a second terminal 4 to which two leads are respectively electrically and mechanically connected and which are electrically connected to the circuit board 16 and insert-molded in the resin housing member 18. The temperature detection sensor 2 is arranged on the outside of the sub-passage 9, and the first terminal 3 or the second terminal 4 has a dummy area 24 in an area inserted into the resin housing member 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
