PURPOSE: A safe utility knife is provided to reduce the risk of injury to a user since a unit blade is not separated and is maintained on the cover of a cover by magnetism of a magnet, when the blade is cut. CONSTITUTION: A safe utility knife(100) comprises a blade(120), a blade case(110), a cover(140), a slider(130), and a magnet(144). A plurality of cutting lines are formed from the front end of the blade at a given interval. The blade is cut into each unit blade a plurality of cutting lines. The blade case comprises a guide path(112) and a guide groove(114). The blade is held in the guide path and is slid back and forth. The guide path is externally exposed through the guide groove. The unit blade is cut through the groove(142) of the cover. The magnet is installed around the groove of the cover. |
