<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable and economical aqueous corrosion and scale preventing liquid composition and a method for preventing corrosion and scale, for simultaneously preventing corrosion and scale of an iron-based metal and a copper-based metal in a water circulation system where the iron-based metal and the copper-based metal coexist together. <P>SOLUTION: In the corrosion and scale preventing liquid composition, which is prepared by adding an acid mixture of sulfuric acid and nitric acid to an aqueous mixture containing: (1) one or more selected from zinc, zinc hydroxide, zinc oxide, zinc carbonate, and zinc phosphate; (2) benzotriazoles; (3) one or more selected from organic phosphonic acid, phosphino polycarboxylic acid, phosphono carboxylic acid, phosphoric acid, maleic acid polymer, itaconic acid polymer, and sulfonic group-containing polymer and adjusting pH to 0.0-2.5, an equivalent ratio of the total quantity of the sulfuric acid and the nitric acid to the total quantity of zinc and the alkali metal is 0.7 and more and less than 1.0. The method for preventing corrosion and scale of the iron-based metal and the copper-based metal in an aqueous system by using the corrosion and scale preventing liquid composition is also provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
