<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device which achieves both suppression of rattling noise at turning, and improvement in deterioration of steering feeling when steering at a relatively small steering angle, and is less influenced by secular change. <P>SOLUTION: A limiting part for limiting a relative rotation amount of an annular tooth body having a core body which is relatively rotatably inserted in the annular tooth body, and a tooth at the outer periphery includes: a convex 88 provided at one side of the annular tooth body and the core body; a concave 86 provided at the other side of the annular tooth body and the core body; and an enclosed space for storing the convex 88 and the concave 86.
