ENERGY AND STEEL RECOVERY SYSTEM

An energy and steel recovery system has a suspension column and a plurality of suspension supports operably disposed therein wherein the supports are spaced from one another along the length of thereof. The suspension column includes a mechanism for receiving tires and othe wastes with an energy value onto one of the supports and feeding the tires to an adjacent downwardly disposed support to further gassify the same under low oxygen to preclude combustion. The column is configured to provide for a number of zones including heating, drying, volatizing, and fixed carbon formation which are collectively referred to herein as a "fractionation process."
