PURPOSE: A display device, a power supply device, and a power supply method are provided to eliminate a remaining voltage if input of AC power is stopped. CONSTITUTION: A signal processing unit(20) processes an image signal. A display unit(30) displays an image corresponding the processed image signal. A power supply unit(60) receives AC power. The power supply unit supplies operation power to the display unit. The power supply unit includes a discharging circuit unit. If the input of the AC power is stopped, the discharging circuit unit discharges a remaining voltage of the power supply unit. The discharging circuit unit does not discharge a voltage even though the AC power is inputted.
