METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TRANSMITTING UPLINK CONTROL INFORMATION BASED ON PHYSICAL UPLINK SHARED CHANNEL TRANSMISSIONS

A method and corresponding system for transmitting uplink control information based on Physical Uplink Shared CHannel (PUSCH) transmissions, which adopt spatial multiplexing, are disclosed. Two transport blocks configured by a user device both have uplink data to be transmitted, and two codeword streams are acquired after performing channel coding to the uplink data. The transmission method includes the following steps: a joint coding is performed by the user device to pre-coding matrix information in a first codebook and rank indicator information which are to be transmitted, and a joint coding index is acquired; modulation symbols acquired by processing the joint coding index are mapped, in a repeated manner by the user device, onto all the transport layers corresponding to the two codeword streams for transmitting.
