<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for a boiling-water reactor (BWR) jet pump entrance mixer support medium for firmly supporting an entrance mixer. <P>SOLUTION: An entrance mixer support medium is attached to the conventional BWR jet pump assembly, and the entrance mixer is separated from the centerline of a riser pipe, or the existing position of the entrance mixer is held. The entrance mixer support medium may provide a double support medium that can be provided in another shape by a set screw of the conventional restrictive tool assembly. Maybe, the entrance mixer support medium may be used in place of the conventional set screw. The entrance mixer support medium stabilizes the movement and vibration of the entrance mixer when the BWR jet pump assembly operates in resistance to additional sideloading applied to the entrance mixer.
