摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting apparatus capable of reducing deterioration of a critical current due to a magnetic field even when a large amount of current is energized. <P>SOLUTION: A superconducting cable (superconducting apparatus) 1 comprises an inner superconducting layer 12 and an outer superconducting layer 14, which has a superconducting phase made of oxide including a rare earth element on a substrate and around which a superconducting wire rod is wound. The inner superconducting layer 12 is an axial magnetic field applying layer 12 formed so that a direction of a main magnetic field applied to the superconducting wire rod is parallel to a longitudinal direction of the superconducting wire rod in energization. Winding directions of the superconducting wire rods constituting the superconducting layers 12 and 14 are identical to each other, and the winding directions for the superconducting layers 12 and 14 are different from each other. A pitch of the superconducting wire rod layers constituting the inner superconducting layer 12 are smaller outside than inside. By this constitution, the axial magnetic field is applied to the superconducting wire rod constituting the inner superconducting layer 12 in energization, so as to reduce deterioration of a critical current due to application of a parallel magnetic field. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
