<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a pipeline interior inspection system capable of efficiently performing maintenance work by efficiently photographing the interior of a pipeline. <P>SOLUTION: The pipeline interior inspection system for inspecting the interior of a pipeline by allowing a capsule type photographing apparatus to move in the interior of the pipeline, in which a fluid in a plant is allowed to flow, to photograph the interior of the pipeline includes at least either one of a field device and an auxiliary photographing apparatus arranged on a predetermined position of the pipeline and outputting a radio signal. The capsule type photographing apparatus includes radio communication means for receiving the radio signal from the field device or the auxiliary photographing apparatus; and photographing means which, only when the radio signal from the field device or the auxiliary photographing apparatus is larger than predetermined strength, photographs the interior of the pipeline.
