A tooth meshing driving stepless transmission uses two increasing-decreasing gears as speed ratio changers wherein the gear diameters of the increasing-decreasing gears are variable as required. When the gear diameter of one increasing-decreasing gear increases, the gear diameter of the other increasing-decreasing gear decreases the same length correspondingly at the same time. The two gears are engaged by a toothed chain. The stepless transmission according to the invention overcomes defects of the friction type stepless transmission (CVT) such as small driving torque, slippage between chain and wheel, small starting torque, high gear shift power consumption, and realizes the stepless speed change of tooth meshing transmission. The tooth meshing stepless transmission has advantages of high driving torque, small volume, and simple structure, and can be applied to various large and small-sized vehicles and large and small-sized machines at fixed occasions.
