PURPOSE: An electric monorail-type transportation system with improved clamping structure is provided to improve the accuracy of holding and releasing operations because each holding unit is operated by one driving unit. CONSTITUTION: An electric monorail-type transportation system comprises a carrier device and a clamping device(20). The carrier device is installed in the monorail on the ground and comprises a lifting unit. The clamping device comprises a base frame(21), a first holding unit(22), a driving unit(23), and a first intermediate unit(24A). The base frame is elevated up and down by the lifting unit. The first holding unit comprises two pressurized holders and two shafts(222). The two shafts are installed in the upper part of the base frame to be rotated and joined to the pressurized holder. The first intermediate unit is connected to a rotation of the lower horizontal cam(231). The first intermediate unit rotates the shaft of the first holding unit, and operates the turned pressurized holder to holds an object. |
