<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment structure of an authentication tag for lumber, which enables easy data input and reading by confirming a position of the lumber clearly, while withstanding collection, accumulation, movement and process of the lumber. <P>SOLUTION: In an attachment structure of an authentication tag for lumber, a concave portion 30 is formed in a lumber having a certain length, and an authentication tag 34 is attached to an inner surface of the concave part 30. The authentication tag 34 is formed by embedding an IC tip 36 in an elastic material 35.
