PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition capable of manufacturing a crosslinked article excellent in processability and having enhanced mechanical strength, heat resistance and rolling resistance performance, and a tire using the composition at least partially.SOLUTION: There is provided a rubber composition comprising a solid rubber (A), at least one filler selected from carbon black and silica (B) and a polymer containing a monomer unit derived from farnesene and having catalyst residue amount derived from a metal catalyst used for manufacturing the polymer of 0 to 200 ppm in terms of metal, with the filler (B) content of 20 to 150 pts.mass and the polymer (C) content of 0.1 to 30 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the solid rubber (A).SELECTED DRAWING: None
