<p>A method for data transmission disclosed is applied to an access point for use in a wireless local area network. The access point has multiple antennas. The method comprises in response to transmitting a first message successfully to a station, determining a maximum transmitting rate at which a message can be transmitted successfully using a current antenna group by increasing the transmitting rate and transmitting a message repeatedly; and, transmitting further messages to the station at the determined maximum transmitting rate.</p> |
