FIELD: transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used in transport facility braking devices interacting with rails. Braking mechanism comprises base, two shoes to grip rail heads by sides surfaces, extra shoe, drive and extra drive. Extra shoe is mounted on the base to act on rail rolling surface. Drive is coupled with grips. Extra drive is coupled with extra shoe.
