METHOD AND MULTIMEDIA MESSAGE SERVICE CENTER (MMSC) FOR SUPPORTING NON-MULTIMEDIA MESSAGE SERVICE (MMS) TERMINAL TO USE MULTIMEDIA MESSAGE

A method and a multimedia message service center (MMSC) for supporting non-multimedia message service (MMS) terminal to use multimedia message are disclosed. The method includes the following steps: the MMSC determines that the destination terminal of multimedia message to be sent is non-multimedia message service (MMS) terminal; the MMSC judges whether the user corresponding to the destination terminal sets a forwarding mailbox; if the forwarding mailbox is set, the MMSC sends the multimedia message to be sent to the forwarding mailbox. The method supports the non-multimedia message service (MMS) terminal to use multimedia message.
