<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of leaching copper without reducing the growth of iron-oxidizing bacterium and the iron-oxidizing capacity upon leaching copper from a copper sulfide ore with the use of a sulfuric acid solution to which iron-oxidizing bacteria and silver are added. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of leaching copper, phenolic compound is added for leaching copper from a copper sulfide ore with the use of a sulfuric acid solution to which iron-oxidizing bacteria and/or sulfur oxidation bacteria as well as silver are added. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
