<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an effort associated with removal and insertion of an IC card while ensuring security, as to an in-vehicle device to automatically collect a highway toll. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle 30 equipped with an in-vehicle ETC device 1 is provided with a body control part 4 for activating or releasing a door lock 31 of the vehicle 30 based on a signal from a wireless key 100. When an IC card 7 is inserted into a card insertion part 11, a control part 12 reads card information stored in the IC card 7 and lets a storage part 13 store the information. When a user temporarily leaves the vehicle 30, the control part 12 confirms with the body control part 4 that the same wireless key 100 is used in activating/releasing the door lock. When confirming that the same key is used, the control part 12 uses the card information stored in the storage part 13 for transition to a standby state capable of collecting a toll. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
