The invention relates to a method for producing a refrigeration device, in particular a household refrigeration device (10). Said method consists of the following steps: a partially pre-assembled refrigeration device, in particular a domestic refrigeration device (10), having at least two pipeline end sections (17, 18, 21, 23) of a coolant circuit system which are to be connected, is provided; a connecting sleeve (22) comprising two sleeve ends (28a, 28b) and at least one depth stop (27) is provided; one of the pipeline end sections (17, 18, 21, 23) and one of the sleeve ends (28a, 28b) are inserted into each other until said pipeline end section (17, 18, 21, 23) rests on the at least one depth stop (27); the other pipeline end section (17, 18, 21, 23) and the other sleeve end (28a, 28b) are inserted into each other until said pipeline end section (17, 18, 21, 23) rests on the at least one depth stop (27); and both ends of the pipeline sections (17, 18, 21, 23) are connected to the connecting sleeve (22).
